What is ZipXCV?

ZipXCV is a simple tool for delicious that allows you to easilly add a link to your Delicious account without installing a bookmarklet or plugin and without using cut, copy or paste.

Why bother?

Because some public or shared machines (like at a hotel, an internet cafe or an airport) and some work machines don't allow users to install software or bookmarklets - and some mobile platforms don't have the ability to copy and paste.

How do I use it?

Simply prefix a URL with http://zipxcv.com/. For example: http://www.google.com becomes http://zipxcv.com/http://www.google.com. We'll take care of the rest.

Why "ZipXCV"?

Zip is used here to refer to the speed and simplicity, and the X, C and V are in homage to the standard cut copy and paste keys.

ZipXCV was created by Tommy Vallier as a free, unsupported service.
It is being provided in hopes that it will be useful and is without warranty of any kind.
